(Dichroic glass is used primarily by glass fusers for jewellery and fused glass art.
Dichroic glass (also known as Dichro) is a multi-colored glass with reflective properties. Dichroic glass is available in several textures including smooth, ripple, fibroid and granite.
Dichroic glass is produced by stacking layers of glass and micro layers of Quartz Crystal and Metal Oxides (which are vaporized in a vacuum chamber and then applied to the surface of glass in multiple layers) to create decorative glass with shifting color structures. The glass can have as many as 30 layers of this coating, yet the total glass/coating is extremely thin.

Dichroic glass is said by some to have no metaphysical properties. However, everything has an energy vibration of some sort, which is what gives a material its metaphysical properties. Additionally, the glass is made with metallic oxides which would bring their properties to it.

Dichroic glass can be helpful for seeing past illusions, communication with stellar beings, bringing child-like joy into your life, and meditation. It can certainly be used effectively as a focal point in meditation by staring into the layers of colour of the glass.)
